Since holding her first crayon at the age of two, she decided that a career in art would be her dream. Passionate as she is, she tried to enroll into design studies, but only got into media management instead.

It was only until years later she rediscovered her art passion. She began to draw and from there her style evolved.

Fast forward to 2015: a little whirlwind named Nils turned the world of Marie and her boyfriend upside down. During this time the idea of becoming a children's book author began to take form.

Marie especially loves drawing for the pure joy of it. Her whimsical cute animals are inspired by the cheekiness of her little son Nils.
